Project Ploughshares Calgary is sustained through donations from individuals, churches and groups as well as through annual fundraising events.

Donations to Project Ploughshares Calgary are remitted to Project Ploughshares, who issues tax creditable receipts for the donations and returns the funds to Ploughshares Calgary for use in carrying out programs in Calgary. Project Ploughshares operates under The Canadian Council of Churches and is authorized by the Council to issue tax creditable receipts for donations received that advance the mandate and program of Project Ploughshares. Project Ploughshares Calgary is accountable to Project Ploughshares for ensuring that donations received are used for charitable programs that advance the mandate and objectives of Project Ploughshares.

To make a donation either fill out this donation form or call the Ploughshares Calgary office at 403-270-7366. Monthly pre-authorized debit donations help provide us with a steady income throughout the year, and one-time donations made by cheque, cash or credit card are always welcome.

Please note that we now have the added facility of accepting donations via PayPal.  Simply click on the ‘DONATE’ button on this page and indicate the amount you’d like to donate.

The fund-raising appeal for annual donations occurs in May and June but donations are gratefully received at any time.
